Universities in New York? Please help.?

Ok, I'm from Australia, if I have family living in New York, and I'm going to college there … I have a fourteen if you started saving for all … I know I'm not smart enough to get into an Ivy League or something, so what the university where I can study art normalish such as writing direction, photography and the script?
